Find Pike Projected Release Dates

A Pike County projected release date answers when a sentenced person may leave a named custody system. It is not the same as the day a person actually exits. State prison calculations, Parole Board action, jail credit, holds, new cases, and sentence structure can change the outcome. A pretrial Pike County detainee has no fixed sentence release date. Find the correct record by first separating a county-jail case from Missouri prison custody, then confirm any estimate with the agency responsible for that sentence.

Pike Scheduled Versus Actual Release

A scheduled or calculated date comes from sentence rules and the current record. Actual release is the completed custody event. The official MODOC data dictionary uses “Sentence Minimum Release Date” and “Sentence Maximum Release Date,” not one universal projected date. Minimum is calculated for an active sentence; maximum is sentence expiration. Both are charge or sentence-level fields and neither promises physical release that day.

Scheduled is not actual: A detainer, discipline, consecutive term, court order, or Board action can prevent release on a calculated date.

Pretrial detention depends on bond, court orders, and case progress. It has no sentence end date to calculate. For a short local sentence, ask the Pike sheriff and court about the judgment, jail credit, and actual release record rather than applying prison rules.

Find Pike County Release Dates

Choose the custody layer before searching. Northeast Correctional Center is a MODOC prison in Pike County, while Pike County Detention Center is a sheriff-run jail.

  1. For an active state offender, search MODOC by first and last name, complete CAPTCHA, and compare identifiers.
  2. Read the assignment and active status without assuming that a public result shows final discharge.
  3. For historical state data, download the nightly FAK930 Sunshine file and review every charge row.
  4. For a county sentence, ask the sheriff for the booking, judgment information, jail credit, and release event.
  5. Check Case.net for the judgment, sentence, bond, commitment, or later order.
  6. Confirm the practical date with MODOC, the Board, or the sheriff that controls the custody.

The Pike County release search helps identify the right agency before a date is interpreted.

Pike MODOC Date Fields

The nightly file includes DOC ID, name, DOB, assigned place, institutional or field function, court case, sentence county, charge, sentence date and length, Completed Flag, and sentence minimum and maximum release dates. Each charge occupies one row.

Field Meaning Caution
Minimum release date Calculated minimum for an active sentence Not a door-exit promise
Maximum release date Sentence expiration Sentence-level, not always total discharge
Completed Flag Completion on that row Other rows or supervision may remain
Assigned place and F/I Field or institution function Field usually means active supervision
Sentinel value Special nonordinary date code 99999999, 88888888, and 66666666 must stay labeled

Missouri Sentence Release Rules

RSMo section 558.011 addresses imprisonment and conditional-release portions. Conditional release is supervised sentence service, not final discharge. Section 558.019 contains minimum prison terms, including the 85-percent rule for covered dangerous felonies. It must not be applied to every offense.

The official Missouri minimum-term statute shows the controlling text.

Pike County projected release date Missouri minimum term statute

The statute explains one calculation constraint, while the person’s judgment and complete sentence record decide whether it applies.

Earned Compliance Credits under section 217.703 reduce eligible community supervision for compliant months. They are not prison good time or county-jail credit. No Pike-specific published jail good-time or weekend-release rule was verified, so those terms must be confirmed with the sheriff and court.

Why Pike Release Dates Change

A practical release estimate is a moving product of the full legal record.

Factor Possible effect Source to check
Discipline or credit change Moves an institutional calculation MODOC sentence record
Consecutive sentences One completed row does not end all custody Judgment and every DOC row
Detainer or hold Person may transfer instead of entering the community Holding and receiving agencies
New court order Changes bond, commitment, or sentence Case.net and clerk
Parole Board action Grant, denial, or later action changes timing Board and MODOC
Jail credit Changes time remaining Judgment, sheriff, MODOC

Confirm Pike County Release Timing

Register through Pike County VINELink for a prospective custody-change alert, then verify the event with the reporting agency. MOVANS can lag and is not a certified log. For county custody, request the release timestamp, type, and destination from Sheriff Stephen Korte’s office at 573-324-3202. For state custody, confirm with MODOC or the assigned field office.

No single date proves release from every system. A past BOP release date proves departure from BOP only. A Pike jail transfer proves departure from county custody but continued custody elsewhere. Record the facility, agency, source date, and status with every conclusion.

Pike Jail-to-MODOC Transfer Dates

For the local side of a calculation, compare Sheriff Stephen Korte’s detention source, the Pike Circuit Clerk’s judgment records, and the Pike Judicial Circuit Court contact. These links establish the county sentence and custody event; MODOC supplies the separate state calculation after transfer.

A person who leaves Pike County Detention Center for Northeast Correctional Center or another MODOC institution has not returned to the community. Ask the sheriff for the county release type and receiving agency. Then search the active MODOC record and compare the DOC ID, institutional assignment, sentence county, and court case. The county exit date and state admission date describe two parts of one custody move.

The Pike jail information describes identity documents used in a Sentence and Judgment file and limited property suited to a DOC transfer. Those rules support the distinction between transfer processing and ordinary release, but they provide no local projected-date formula. The judgment, sentence rows, credits, detainers, and MODOC calculation control the state timeline.

Pike Parole and Conditional Release

An active MODOC field assignment can mean a person left prison on parole or conditional release while remaining in legal MODOC custody. Parole is a discretionary Board release. Conditional release is the supervised portion built into a qualifying sentence. Neither is final discharge, and neither should be described as the end of every sentence obligation.

The Missouri Parole Board may act under section 217.690, but hearing eligibility and a favorable decision are not door-exit timestamps. Release planning, another hold, consecutive terms, or later Board action can affect the practical date. No public Missouri individual parole calendar or decisions-results search was verified. Use Board records, MODOC status, and eligible notification channels.

No Pike MODOC Search Match

MODOC Web Search covers active offenders and expressly excludes discharged offenders. A missing result can therefore mean final discharge, no state-corrections history, a name mismatch, or a lawful public-display restriction. It does not prove a Pike County release or total sentence completion.

Use the nightly FAK930 Sunshine file for historical state data. Match the permanent DOC ID, name, date of birth, assigned place, F or I function, court case, county, charge, sentence date, term, Completed Flag, Sentence Minimum Release Date, and Sentence Maximum Release Date. Review every row. A completed charge can coexist with another active sentence or supervision term.

Pike Federal Release-Date Boundary

The BOP locator uses a separate federal population. A past release date with no institution confirms departure from BOP custody on that date. It does not establish release from Pike County custody, state supervision, immigration custody, or another hold. A future federal date is projected, while “Unknown” means the confinement term has not been determined.

BOP warns that a pretrial person can be removed by the U.S. Marshals Service and released by a court without a later locator update. In that situation, PACER supplies the detention or release order and the USMS records route addresses custody movement. Keep the federal date labeled as BOP information rather than converting it to a universal release date.

Correct Pike Release-Date Errors

For a disputed county field, identify the person, booking, exact release-date entry, proposed correction, and supporting court order, then contact the sheriff. A docket error belongs with the Pike Circuit Clerk and case number. A historical MODOC field issue should identify the DOC ID, source file, charge row, and supporting judgment for OD.SunshineRequest@doc.mo.gov.

Correction differs from expungement or deletion. An agency may have to retain a record even when a displayed field is wrong. Preserve the original value and the written response. That record trail can show whether the change corrected bad data or reflected a later Board action, sentence amendment, detainer, or custody transfer.

Pike Date Evidence Checklist

A reliable date conclusion identifies the person, custody agency, source, record date, sentence row, and legal meaning. For a county case, join the judgment or release order to the sheriff’s exit record. For state custody, join the active assignment to every historical sentence row and any Board action. For federal custody, keep the BOP date limited to BOP.

When dates conflict, compare update cycles before choosing one. MODOC’s historical file updates nightly. BOP says its locator updates daily. MOVANS depends on agency transmission, while a court order can appear before staff complete release processing. Contact the office that owns the disputed event and record the answer. The final statement should say “calculated,” “authorized,” “transferred,” “released to supervision,” or “actually released” according to the evidence instead of treating those events as synonyms.

Read Pike Sentence Date Codes

MODOC’s historical file is charge oriented, so the date fields must be read in the context of each sentence row. The permanent DOC ID links the rows to one person. Court case number, sentence county, charge, sentence date, sentence length, assigned place, and institutional or field function then show which legal term the row describes. A person can have more than one row from the same case or from separate cases.

The Completed Flag belongs to that row. A “Y” can show completion of one sentence without proving that a concurrent term, consecutive term, parole obligation, or conditional-release period has ended. Sentence Minimum Release Date is the calculated minimum for an active sentence. Sentence Maximum Release Date is the expiration date. Neither field should be shortened to a generic “projected release date” when quoting the record because the official terms carry different meanings.

Special values must remain codes. The file uses 99999999 for life, 88888888 for indeterminate or interstate matters, and 66666666 for assessment or investigation situations. Converting one into a normal calendar date would create a false result. Preserve the code, cite the data dictionary, and request clarification from MODOC when it controls the question.

Pike Court Orders and Exit Time

Case.net is the durable source for the legal event behind many county custody changes. Search by litigant name or case number, narrow to Pike County and the correct criminal matter, then record the exact docket text and date. Bond, recognizance, dismissal, probation, judgment, commitment, and remand entries answer different questions. A bond or release order authorizes departure under stated terms. Commitment or remand points to continued custody.

The court record still does not establish the minute jail staff finished release processing. Identity checks, property steps, another warrant, a detainer, or transport to a receiving agency can separate the order time from the physical exit. Request the sheriff’s booking and release timestamps, release type, and destination. When both sources are cited, label one as legal authorization and the other as the operating custody event.
